Investment approach

We are building a solar platform, not chasing a single project.

The strategy combines a regional sourcing focus with the habits of institutional real asset investing: understand the asset, understand the cash flow, understand the counterparties, and underwrite for the long term.

01

Acquire

Engage with owners of existing solar fields and other established assets where Lakeshore can bring long-term ownership and capital.

02

Improve

Look for practical opportunities to increase the usefulness, production or economic durability of an existing asset.

03

Own

Build a portfolio of productive infrastructure designed around durable power demand and disciplined capital management.

Regional focus

A deliberately focused Upper Midwest strategy.

From our Chicago base, Lakeshore concentrates on Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota to deepen market knowledge, operating relationships and sourcing discipline.

Eau Claire Solar

The investment that shows where we're going.

Skypark in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is a 1 MW solar facility on 7.5 acres of former landfill. Lakeshore leases the site from the City and sells the electricity produced under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement. The plan is to renovate and upgrade the facility to increase production.
